Realizing the diversity and complexity of sugarcane farming and Sugar Business, Parry has diversified, intensified and extended its Research and Development activity started in 1977 at Edyanavalli to Bangalore, Nellikuppam, Pugalur, Pettavaithalai and Pudukottai in the 90's.

Today Parry's Sugarcane Research Centre is a 'ONE STOP SHOP' for farmers looking for solutions in cane farming - for good seed, quality inputs, technical advise, new technologies, pest & disease control resulting in a sustainable and profitable crop - a Research centre which cares for every need of cane farming.

A blend of young and experienced Scientists nurtured by Parry's Management and International Advisors work along with the farmers on a day-to-day basis finding innovative solutions. State-of-art infrastructure built in our sugar factories with modern equipment enable the Scientists to pursue their scientific excellence on par with International standards.

A multidisciplinary approach is followed incorporating every discipline of biological science such as Breeding, Agronomy, Soil science, Pathology, Entomology, Nematology, Sugar Chemistry, Extension, Farmer Training, Tissue culture and Bio-control (the underlined disciplines will link to individual discipline pages, similar links to be provided in the below diagram) to provide a total solution to the sugarcane farming needs.
