Sugar Chemistry
To enable the Breeders to identify the high sugar varieties from the initial stages of Breeding program, the sugar chemistry group carries out sugar analysis of sugarcane clones at various stages of its development.
Further, this group monitors performance of the varieties and its maturity patterns through field collection of samples and analysis through out its life cycle. The Opeartion's team works out the varietal planting and harvest schedules using these results.
