Water Conservation

The bio-products division of the company is in no way languishing behind in the field of water conservation. The bio-products plants have initiated several methods to conserve water resources and minimize pollution. Some of the significant measures are:

Bio-degradable waste generated within the factory premises are effectively used as manure through Vermi-Composting method.
Waste water is treated through dual system of Anaerobic & Aerobic treatment followed by Pressure sand filtration and Activated Carbon filtration.
Total quantity of Treated Effluent water from the ETP system is reused for In Land irrigation purpose within factory premises.
Neem Seed Saplings planted in and around plant premises as part of green belt development.
Water Input for the process was reduced by 15 kl through mechanization and recycling.
There is a permanent Pilot Plant set up for taking trials towards the continual improvement of treated water quality.
Ground water recharging through Rain Water Harvesting.
