The company is today world leader in micro algal technology comprising organic Spirulina, Organic Chlorella, beta carotene from Dunaliella salina, Astaxanthin form Haematococcus pluvialis and algae Omega-3 complex. Parry’s Spirulina is exported to more than 41 countries across the globe and certified for major international Food and Safety Standards.
In continuation of its path breaking technology in micro algae, R&D wing of the business established in 1993 and approved by DSIR, is focused on developing new products with algal and non algal formulations for Human Wellness.
Intensive research is undertaken on the selection and screening of new and different edible algal strains. Lab-to-market studies from characterisation, cultivation, nutrient optimisation to commercialisation is given prime importance to ensure value added products and formulations addressing both B2B and B2C segments.
